MEC RAMOKGOPA TO ENGAGE WITH YOUNG WOMEN AS PART OF WOMEN’S MONTH

​​As part of women's month commemoration, Gauteng MEC for Health Dr Gwen Ramokgopa will tomorrow, 03 August 2017 deliver a keynote address at the Midwifery-Obstetric Newborn Care Conference (MONEC) at Sefako Makgatho Medical University in Garankuwa, Tshwane.

The MEC's address will focus more on teenage and unwanted pregnancies, women's health, prevention of HIV and other diseases, and motivational talk to Midwifery and Obstertric care professionals.

The event will also serve as a platform for the Department to engage with young women in support of the five year campaign initiative of investing in girl children and empowering young women.
