Starting school in brand new uniforms

Underprivileged Gauteng learners starting Grade 0 in 2010 at the Thembalethu Primary School will be doing so in sparkling new uniforms. The MEC for Health and Social Development Qedani Mahlangu will be brightening up their first day at school by providing them with school uniform packs to enrich the experience of starting school.

Awarding learners at Thembalethu Primary School with school uniforms is part of the departments broader school uniform project which aims to provide 80 000 learners with school uniforms by the end of the financial year.
